Help fund litigation to stop misleading food labelling!

In July 2022, Health Canada announced new rules to flag foods that are high in sodium, sugar and saturated fat, but created a range of loopholes for meat, tropical oils, breakfast cereals, potato chips, cheese, and high-fat milk, jams and spreads that will send so many mixed messages to consumers that it will systematically mislead them about good nutrition. The same day, Health Canada quietly finalized rules allowing the addition (and promotion) of vitamins and minerals and other unapproved food additives to candy that a previous minister of health refused for fear of being remembered as the "Junk Food Queen."
