Donate to support CHSL's law reform and accountability advocacy
Federal laws and policies have a huge impact on the quality of our food supply, and quality of life, especially for vulnerable Canadians. The food supply is both national and international. International standards set in New York and Geneva can have a big impact on inspiring and limiting Canadian laws concerning nutrition, protection from chemicals and pesticides, environmental sustainability of the food supply, and pandemic preparedness. COVID-19 has helped close the physical distance among these decision-making hubs with virtual meetings, but optimizing Canadian legal safeguards takes research, coordination, lots of communications to convince government bureaucrats, elected officials, journalists, and courts. CHSL has accumulated uncommon expertise in law reform advocacy. Help support vital federal and international public health advocacy. Help out with whatever you can, $25, $50, $100. (If you donate more than $500 please email BillJeffery@HealthScienceAndLaw.ca an attestation that you do not have any investments in food, alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceutical, medical technology or other health-related industries.)
